Today, I want to share a position article about the importance of research. Research plays a crucial role in various aspects of our lives and is fundamental in numerous professions, particularly in clinical settings. Nevertheless, it is somewhat lacking in the estates and facilities sector.

In this brief paper, I advocate for increased research efforts from operational managers in healthcare and highlight the advantages this could bring.
