HAPPY NATIONAL HEALTHCARE E&F WEEK ! !!

Well, ok not quite a week, but for many teams across the country, the preparations are commencing to celebrate National Healthcare Estates and Facilities Day on the 21st June. A day of celebration to say thanks for the excellent work undertaken by all of the E&F professions across NHS England, Scotland and Wales.

Quite often the unsung heroes of the NHS, whether they be cleaners, porters, security, estates officers, capital project managers, or any one of the 250,000 + colleagues across the NHS that keep the hospitals clean and safe.

Wherever you are across the NHS, and regardless of whether you are a CEO or a Healthcare Assistant, please stop for a minute or two on the 21st June to say thank you to your colleagues who keep the lights on and the doors open so our clinical colleagues can deliver the world class care that the NHS is renowned for.

I am proud to be classed as one of the many supporting the NHS and look forward to thanking my team on the 21st through a number of activities, prize givings and donuts…. Mustn’t forget the donuts!
